Postgraduate Certificate in Podiatry studies at the University of South Australia.
One of her positions prior to opening her podiatry practice was working for Queensland Health providing foot care to patients with diabetes and other high groups. There she ran an orthotics laboratory making custom made foot orthotics for high risk feet.
Jodi has worked in the private sector caring for children foot problems for 20 years. She completed post graduate studies in paediatric podiatry at the University of South Australia.
Prior to her Podiatry degree Jodi worked in the exercise industry where she prescribing exercise programs and sports specific strength, stretching programs and sport specific condition programs.
Positive Podiatry was opened in 2003 hoping to provide podiatry care to a more diverse patient of all age group, medical conditions and biomechanical problems.
Jodi is skilled at assessing lower extremity biomechanics and enjoys the challenges of finding solutions to improve clients foot and lower extremity function.
Her experience in working with all age groups gives her understanding of the progression of foot problems.
She is a member of The Australian Podiatry Association.
Jodi has a keen interest in exercise and sport having played rugby union, netball, basketball, golf, triathlon and long distance running.
Jodi currently enjoys resistance training, golf, walking and running and trying to keep up with her daughter. They enjoy scootering, swimming and playing at the parks.
